Print credit is a per-currency balance on your AG account that's automatically applied at checkout to reduce what's charged to your card. View it in the Print credit card under Settings.
How credit shows up
The Print credit card in Settings shows a single Available balance figure in your account's currency. It only appears when you have a balance. At checkout, when credit is available, the order summary shows a "You have … print credit" panel and a Print credit applied line.
How credit is added
Credits are added by AG support, not user action:
- Goodwill — for damaged orders, lost in transit, or late beyond SLA.
- Promotions — periodic offers from AG (sometimes for new accounts, anniversary credits, etc.).
- Refunds — partial refunds you've accepted as credit instead of card refund.
How credit is spent
Automatically at checkout:
- Cart total is calculated.
- Available credit in your account's currency is applied first, reducing the residual.
- The residual (cart total − credit applied) is charged to your saved card or new card.
- If credit covers the full order, no card charge happens — order is paid entirely from credit.
Currency segregation
Credit is in your account's currency (set by the Billing Country card in Settings). Credits in GBP can't be used to pay USD or EUR orders, and vice versa.
If you change your billing country, contact support — they may need to convert your credit to the new currency manually.
Expiry
Print credit doesn't expire automatically. If a specific credit was issued with an expiry date, it'll be noted in the email you received when it was added.
What credit doesn't do
- Doesn't apply to delivery costs separately — credit is applied to the cart subtotal as a whole.
- Doesn't refund to your card — credit can only be spent on AG orders.
- Doesn't transfer to other AG accounts.
Checking before ordering
Before placing a large order, glance at your Print Credit balance — useful to know what your actual out-of-pocket spend will be.
Tax treatment
Credit reduces the taxable amount of the order — VAT is calculated on the residual after credit is applied.
Credit from the previous platform
Referral and print credit earned on the previous creativehub platform is visible and spendable here: your balance shows on a card in Settings, and checkout's Apply Print Credit is on by default when you have a balance.
