How to set your sale page's language

page style

Your sale page's system text — buttons like Add to cart, the countdown labels, section headings such as The Collection, and cart messages — renders in your store's language. Your own content (titles, descriptions, your bio) always appears exactly as you wrote it.

How the language is chosen

By default the page follows your store's Shopify language (the primary language in your Shopify admin). If that matches the language you sell in, you don't need to do anything.

If your Shopify admin runs in a different language than your buyers — say you manage the store in English but sell to a German audience — set the language yourself:

  1. Go to Settings → Page Styles and edit your style.
  2. Find the Language & Copy section.
  3. Set Page language from Auto (follow the store's Shopify language) to your language.
  4. Save, then republish the drop — language is applied when a page is published.

English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Hindi, Bengali, Arabic, Urdu and Indonesian ship built in. Any other language is generated automatically when you publish — no need to request it.

The collection description

The line under The Collection heading ("Each artwork is meticulously captured and professionally printed on museum-quality paper.") is translated automatically with the rest of the system text. To write your own instead, fill in Collection description in the same Language & Copy section — whatever you type is used verbatim. Leave it empty to keep the translated default.

Remember to republish

Language and copy changes are baked into the page at publish time. Editing the style alone doesn't change a live page — republish the drop to see it.
