The Connect your stores card lets you link an existing storefront so we can push products to it and handle orders, fulfilment, and tracking automatically. You'll see it during the /connect-accounts setup step, and again any time from Settings → Connections.
Supported platforms
Five platforms are live:
- Shopify
- Etsy
- Squarespace
- Wix
- WooCommerce
Big Cartel appears on the card marked Coming soon and can't be connected yet.
What each one asks for
When you tap a tile, it either asks for your store URL first or sends you straight to the platform to authorise:
- Shopify and WooCommerce ask for your store URL up front. Type it in (for example
your-store.myshopify.comfor Shopify, oryour-store.comfor WooCommerce), then we send you to the platform to authorise and bring you back. - Etsy, Squarespace, and Wix don't need a URL up front. Tapping the tile takes you straight to the platform's sign-in to authorise.
Wix needs the Wix Stores app
For products to push to Wix, the Wix Stores app must be installed on your site. If it's missing, the Wix tile shows a warning — Install Wix Stores in your site — until you add it.
What connecting grants
Authorising gives us the permissions to push products and handle orders, fulfilment, and tracking. It does not import your existing catalogue.
On Shopify this is a 23-scope grant, including write_products (to create your print products) and write_publications (to publish them to your storefront's sales channel). Adding scopes means re-consenting, so if you connected before these were added you'll need to reconnect to pick them up.
Shopify-only features
You can push products to any connected platform. Drops (timed sale pages) are Shopify only — the option carries a Shopify only badge on the home setup checklist. We generate the products and the store page for a drop on Shopify; other platforms get products only.
Connecting more than one store
You can connect more than one store. Switch the active store, connect another, or disconnect at any time from Settings → Connections — it's the same card used in the /connect-accounts setup step.
