Timed drops plus email early access is the strategy creativehub is built around. Time-limited releases drive higher conversion than always-on listings.
Why time-limited drops work
- Create urgency — deadlines drive action; people buy now instead of "later."
- Avoid discounting — time limits communicate desirability without reducing prices.
- Build collectability — limited releases increase perceived value over time.
- Measure & improve — discrete events let you test and iterate on what works.
Time-limited vs permanent store
At the sale-schedule step ("When would you like to run the sale?") you choose between two sale types:
- Time-limited sale — you set a launch date/time and a sale end date/time. This is the recommended option.
- Permanent store — the store stays open with no end date. The wizard actively advises against this: time-limited sales create urgency and typically generate higher revenue.
If you do pick a permanent store, you also choose how it launches: Launch immediately (the page goes live the moment you publish, with no countdown or holding page) or Countdown to launch (you pick a launch date and a holding page counts down to it).
Early access is always live
There's no separate pre-launch window to configure — the wizard no longer asks for one. Every drop gets an early-access link that goes live as soon as you publish, so you can share it whenever you want. Meanwhile the public page shows a countdown until your launch moment, then opens to everyone at launch.
