Publishing prints to Etsy requires an Etsy shipping profile. There are two kinds, and only one works for prints:
- Calculated shipping profiles need a package weight and dimensions on every listing. Print listings don't carry those, so a calculated profile can't be used.
- Fixed-price profiles charge set delivery amounts. This is what your prints need.
What we do automatically
When you publish to Etsy, we look for a usable fixed-price profile on your Etsy shop. If there isn't one, we create it from the delivery prices saved on your product.
If the publish fails with a shipping-profile error
An error saying your Etsy shop has no fixed-price shipping profile this product can use means we couldn't find one and the product has no delivery prices saved to create one from. To fix it:
- Open the product in creativehub.
- Save its delivery prices on the delivery step.
- Publish to Etsy again — the profile is created from those prices.
