How to use product presets

A product preset saves an existing product's whole setup — sizes (standard and custom), framed and unframed variants, borders, frames, prices, currency and edition structure — so you can apply it to a batch of new artworks in one step instead of configuring each one by hand.

If you sell consistent edition ladders (say, four sizes with the smaller two offered framed and unframed and the larger two unframed only), set that up once on one product, save it as a preset, and every future upload takes it in one click.

Creating a preset

  1. Start the create-products journey and choose Create products myself.
  2. Upload your artworks and name them.
  3. On the next step choose Create from existing product (presets), then switch to Create preset.
  4. Pick one of your existing products from the list (searchable). Products without variants aren't listed — a preset captures a configured product.
  5. Give the preset a name and save.

The preset is a snapshot of that product at the moment you save it — later edits to the source product don't change the preset, and deleting the product doesn't break it.

Legacy products aren't listed — they weren't set up in this system, so they can't become presets.

Applying a preset

With artworks uploaded and named, choose Create from existing product (presets), pick your preset, and apply. One preset applies to the whole batch, and it runs straight through: sizes, framing, borders, prices and editions are configured for each artwork, the products are created and pushed to your store, and you land on the completion screen.

Sizes adapt to each artwork: geometry, borders and frame choices are worked out fresh for each image's aspect ratio, including custom sizes — nothing is stretched or copied blindly from the source artwork.

What a preset never copies

  • Edition history — every apply starts fresh edition pools. Sold counts and certificates never carry over from the source product.
  • The source artwork itself — only the setup.

Managing your presets

Go to Settings → Fulfilment → Product presets to see all your presets, rename one, or delete it (you'll be asked to confirm). There's no editing of a preset's contents — to change one, set up a product the way you want and save a new preset.
