How to set measurement units (centimetres vs inches)

The Measurement units card controls how sizes are formatted on the Shopify size buttons customers see when picking a print size on a published drop.

Three options

• Centimetres — 30×45cm only.
• Inches — 12×18" only.
• Both (default) — 30×45cm, 12×18" — both formats on every button.

How to set it

1. Open Settings → Account.
2. Find the Measurement units card.
3. Click Centimetres, Inches, or Both.
4. Click Save preference.

When to choose what

• UK / EU audience → Centimetres.
• US audience → Inches.
• Mixed / international → Both — covers everyone, uses a little more space per button.

What it affects

Only the size labels on your published Shopify drops. Your choice is applied each time a drop is published.

After saving

The change applies to new drops you publish from now on. Already-published drops keep whatever labels they were published with — republish a drop if you want its buttons updated.
