The Recommended print sizes & pricing card is where you set retail and delivery prices for every variant in a drop. You can edit prices during initial drop setup, or any time after publishing via the Edit Options hub.
Where to find it
- During wizard setup — the pricing step comes after framing and before limited editions. The exact position depends on the options your drop uses, so look for the "Recommended print sizes & pricing" card.
- After publishing — Drops → on the drop's card click Edit → in the edit hub, under Products and prices, click Prices.
What's on the card
The card groups variants by aspect ratio (e.g., 3:2, 4:3, 1:1 — derived from your artwork dimensions). For each ratio you switch between Print Only and Framed with the product-type toggle. (Print Only shows first; Framed only appears for ratios that support framing.) Within each tab you get a row per size tier:
- Small / Medium / Large — the baseline tiers.
- Statement — only appears for ratios where the recommendation engine produced a Statement-size print.
The table is split into three colour-coded groups:
Suggested retail prices (editable)
- Retail Price — what your customer pays (excluding tax).
- Delivery EU/USA/Canada — UK, EU, USA and Canada all use this rate.
- Delivery ROW — Rest of World.
creativehub fulfilment costs (wholesale, from theprintspace)
- Print Cost — the print only.
- Frame Cost — the frame only (£0 on Print Only rows).
- COA / Letter / Branding — your per-unit add-on cost (certificate, letter insert and envelope branding combined).
- Avg. Delivery Cost — the average delivery cost used in the profit estimate.
profit margins (calculated)
- Profit — retail − (print + frame) − avg. delivery − (COA / letter / branding).
- Margin (%) — profit ÷ retail price.
How to edit a price
- Click Set bespoke prices to put the whole table into edit mode.
- Edit the Retail Price, Delivery EU/USA/Canada and Delivery ROW fields directly in any row. Profit and margin recalculate live.
- Click Save & Continue to commit your prices, or Cancel to discard. Cancel clears every override and reverts to the recommended prices.
If you don't want to change anything, leave the table alone and click Looks good.
Defaults
If you don't override anything, the pricing engine fills in retail prices based on size, paper, framing and your sales channel. Delivery defaults are £15 for UK/EU/USA/Canada and £39 for Rest of World.
Projected revenue summary
At the top of the card, the Projected Revenue Summary shows Likely revenue, Likely profit and Likely margin. It assumes 100 units sold per artwork with this size mix:
- Small: 30%
- Medium: 40%
- Large: 20%
- Statement: 10%
This is a planning estimate — actual revenue and margin vary with the regions your buyers come from. Use it to compare scenarios as you tune prices.
After saving
Saved overrides are written to the drop's pricing configuration. If the drop is already published, publish your changes from the Edit Options hub to push the new prices live to your sale page. Until then, the changes are draft and only visible in the editor.
Common scenarios
- Lift all prices — there's no bulk operation; edit each tier in edit mode.
- Match a price for one size — edit just that one row.
- Free shipping — set both delivery fields to £0 and lift retail prices to absorb the delivery cost.
- Different prices per artwork in the same drop — not supported; pricing is per aspect-ratio + size + product type, shared across all artworks in that ratio. To price artworks differently, run them as separate drops.
