How to edit a published drop

edit optionsedit droppublish changes

After a drop is published — or once you finish initial setup in the wizard — you land on the editing hub. From here you can change any part of the drop and push the changes to your store.

Where to find it

Drop List (sidebar) → your drop's card → Edit. If the drop is published, the wizard opens straight on the editing hub. If it's incomplete, the wizard resumes at your last step and the hub appears once the initial flow finishes.

The hub

The card is titled Your page and editing options (or Your product and editing options when you open a single product). Under it you'll see Your page and products are ready to publish to Shopify. (or Your product is ready to publish to Shopify. in product-only mode).

The editing options live in two collapsible sections, both expanded by default:

  • Products and prices
  • Store design and content

Each tile opens a focused editor for that piece of the drop. Make your change, then return to the hub.

Products and prices

  • Prices — every retail price across sizes, framing, and aspect ratios. See How to change the prices of your products.
  • Edition sizes — the maximum number of prints sold per variant, for tracked limited editions.
  • Product & variant choices — framing/variant selections and the simulated framed-and-hung previews.
  • Change product shots — swap the product images used on the product detail page.
  • Paper choice — the paper used for prints in the drop.
  • Borders — the white border around each print.
  • Mount, signature & numbering — the consolidated finishing-touches editor (mount, signature, and edition numbering in one place).
  • Certificate of Authenticity — which COA design ships with each print, and the COA setup.
  • Letter insert — the personalised A4 letter that ships with each print.

Store design and content

  • Drop name — rename the drop.
  • Sale dates — the launch and end dates of the sale.
  • Page style — the visual template (typography, colours, button styles).
  • Page hero image — the main visual at the top of the sale page.
  • Short Artist Bio — the bio section on the sale page.
  • Artwork Descriptions — the copy shown next to each artwork.
  • Important FAQs — the FAQ accordion at the bottom of the sale page.
  • Headshot — the artist photo for the bio section.
  • Logo — the brand logo on packaging stickers and on the sale page.
  • Signature — the signature printed onto each artwork.
  • Holding Page Settings — what visitors see before the sale opens (early-access link, sign-up form, copy).

Disabled tiles

Some tiles may be greyed out. This usually means that option isn't available in the current flow (for example, prices can't be edited when every selected artwork was imported from an existing Shopify product).

Two modes

  • Page mode (default) — edits apply to the whole sale page.
  • Product-only mode — opened when you edit a single product. Page-level tiles are hidden: Drop name, Sale dates, Page style, Short Artist Bio, Artwork Descriptions, Important FAQs, Headshot, and Holding Page Settings. Logo and Letter insert are also hidden (both are drop-scoped). Signature moves up into the Products and prices section.

Pushing your changes

The hub has two buttons at the bottom: Exit and a publish button.

The publish button text changes with context:

  • A sale page reads Publish changes.
  • A single product reads Push to store the first time, or Push edits to store once it's been published before.
  • While the push is running it reads Pushing….

Pushing re-runs the publish pipeline (recommendations + Shopify product updates + sale-page redeploy) so every saved change goes live in one go.

The publish button is disabled when there's nothing to push — i.e. an already-published drop with no real unsaved changes. Editing a tile only counts as a change if you actually changed something: opening Prices or Edition sizes and clicking Continue without editing won't enable the button.

To leave without pushing, click Exit. Your edits are saved as you go — they just aren't live until you push. You can return any time from the Drops list.

Unsaved changes

When you have unpushed edits, the hub shows a line under the buttons:

  • For a product: You have unpublished changes to this product.
  • For a drop: You have unpublished changes to this drop.

Currency mismatch

Each drop and product is created in a fixed currency. If you later change your account's billing currency, an amber banner appears explaining that this drop/product stays in its original currency and that the only way to re-price in the new currency is to recreate the drop or product. Changing your account currency doesn't retroactively re-price anything you've already set up.

Each product on your live drop page has its own address: opening a product adds ?product=<its-name> to the URL in the browser's address bar. Copy that link to send buyers (or tag on social media) straight to that product's detail view on your drop page — the back button returns them to the full collection.
