How to configure fulfilment settings (exclude regions, courier, DDP)

fulfilmentexclude regionsupgrade to courierddpcustoms

Open Settings from the sidebar, then the Fulfilment tab. Settings here control which delivery prices we push to your store and how theprintspace fulfils your orders by region — they have real cost consequences, so read each one before changing anything.

Delivery prices

The top card picks which shipping prices we attach to newly pushed products: Recommended delivery prices (standardised, conversion-optimised — the default) or Pass-through cost prices (exactly what theprintspace charges, by region and size). Select a card and press Save preference. It applies to new products and drops only; to use entirely your own rates, create your own delivery profile in Shopify admin and move the products onto it — we won't touch it. See Can I stop creativehub pushing delivery prices to my store?

These switches write the same records that the admin team can see and edit, so admin and merchant changes mirror each other.

Exclude regions from Fulfilment

A switch per delivery region (UK, Germany, EU, EEA, United States, Canada, AUS / NZ, Rest of World).

Switch a region on to exclude it: theprintspace will not fulfil orders set up on our system that deliver to that region. Leave it off and we fulfil there as normal.

Upgrade to Courier

A switch per region. Courier postage is tracked and is more resilient against tariffs, customs, and import issues than standard postage.

Courier is also a prerequisite for Delivery Duty Paid — only courier postage can carry DDP. If you regularly ship to a region where theprintspace doesn't run a production facility (we fulfil in the United States, Germany, and the UK), turning courier on for that region is what lets you offer DDP there.

Delivery Duty Paid (DDP)

A switch per country, shown only for the eligible countries we support. DDP pre-pays import duties and GST so your customer never gets a customs bill at the door.

When DDP is on for a country, the duty, GST, and a flat courier handling fee (£6.24 / €7.11 / $7.49 per order, by currency) are added to that order at checkout.

DDP needs courier postage, so the two settings are linked. When a change forces a linked change, you'll see the toast: "Setting updated — Linked settings were also adjusted to keep the configuration valid."

The rules:

  • Turn DDP on for a countryUpgrade to Courier is switched on automatically for that country's region.
  • Turn Upgrade to Courier off for a region → DDP is switched off for every country in that region.
  • Turning DDP off, or turning courier on, never changes anything else.

So if you want to drop courier for a region, expect any DDP in that region to switch off with it. To offer DDP, you don't need to flip courier first — enabling DDP handles it for you.
