When you first sign up to creativehub, there's no waitlist and no approval step. You create your account, accept the Terms & Conditions, connect a store, and you're in. This article walks through what happens on your first visit.
Signing up
On the sign-up form you enter your name, email, and password. Before the account is created, a Terms & Conditions modal appears — you have to accept it to continue. Acceptance is recorded against your account, so you won't be asked again unless the terms change.
If you sign in later and the terms have been updated (or your account pre-dates the modal), you'll be sent to an "I accept" page before you reach the app.
What happens after sign-up
Once your account is set up you land on the Home page — a "Welcome, {your name}" landing screen. There's no separate "Mission Control" hub.
Before Home loads, a couple of one-off checks may redirect you:
- Finish your profile — if your billing country is missing (you abandoned the confirm step earlier), you're sent back to complete it.
- Multi-factor authentication — if you've set up MFA, you may be prompted to verify.
These aren't access tiers; they're one-time gates. Once cleared, you go straight to Home.
The Home page
Home has two parts:
- Choose a Service — feature cards for the main things you can do: create individual print products, create a time-limited print drop (Shopify only), and order fine art prints for yourself ("Looking for Print Ordering?").
- Setup progress — an expandable checklist of five steps that tracks how far through setup you are.
The 5 setup steps
The Setup progress card ticks these off automatically as you complete them:
- Connect your store — link an e-commerce store so we can sync products, orders, and tracking. We recommend Shopify. Takes you to
/connect-accounts. - Create products or drop pages — create individual products, or generate a timed drop page (Shopify only).
- Add a payment card — when you make sales, we debit your card to produce and dispatch orders. Set this in Settings.
- Add branding — add your artist name and logo (used on packing and certificates). Set this in Settings.
- Make sales — the finish line.
None of these gate the others — you can create products before adding a card, for example. You just need a connected store and a payment card on file before orders can be produced and dispatched.
Connecting a store
The first step opens the connect-stores screen at /connect-accounts. You can connect Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, or WooCommerce. Shopify is recommended — print drops with auto-generated store pages are Shopify-only. For Shopify and WooCommerce you enter your store URL and are redirected to authorise the connection; Squarespace and Wix use a central installer.
See How to connect your platforms for the per-platform steps.
Marketing, analytics, and growth
Social, email-marketing, analytics, growth campaigns, and growth-target features are not live yet. They're switched off ahead of launch, so you won't see them in the sidebar — there's nothing to connect or unlock. The only connection you need to get started is a store.
