How to upload your headshot for the sale page

The headshot is the photo of you that pairs with your bio on the sale page. Upload it during the wizard's Headshot step, or via Edit Options → Headshot. It's optional — you can Skip for now and add it later.

What to upload

  • A photo of you, the artist — not a logo, not a self-portrait painting.
  • In your studio or with the work ideally, since context makes the bio land harder.
  • Square or portrait crop, on a neutral background. The bio panel renders it as a circle on most page styles, square on others. There's no cropper in the app, so crop and square the image yourself before uploading.
  • A JPEG or PNG. Those are the only formats the upload accepts. Higher resolution looks sharper on retina screens, but there's no minimum the system enforces.

How to upload

You have three options:

  1. From your library — if you've uploaded headshots before, a grid of your recent ones appears. Click any to reuse it.
  2. Drag and drop the image onto the upload area.
  3. Click the upload area to pick a file.

The image uploads and previews in the bio panel straight away. No crop step.

Headshot vs Logo vs Signature

These are three separate uploads with different purposes:

  • Headshot — your face. Bio section.
  • Logo — your brand logo. Sale page header + packaging stickers.
  • Signature — your handwritten signature. COA + (optionally) printed onto the artwork.

Don't mix them up. Uploading your logo as a headshot leaves the bio section weirdly impersonal.

Editing post-publish

Open Edit Options → Headshot, replace the image, save, and publish changes. The new headshot propagates to the live page on the next publish.

Re-using across drops

Headshots you've uploaded before show up in the From your library grid, so you can pick the same one again with a single click. Most artists keep the same headshot across drops; you only need a new one when something visibly changes.
