You can place an Artful Gallery order without creating an account. AG signs you in anonymously the first time you upload — you get a real user account behind the scenes, and you can promote it to a logged-in account at any time.
How it works
- On first visit, you're signed in as an anonymous user. You get a UUID and can upload, configure prints, and add to cart immediately.
- Your library, cart, and orders are tied to that anonymous user.
- At checkout, you provide an email so the order can be tracked and a confirmation can be sent.
- After paying, you can convert the anonymous account to a real one by setting a password. Your history carries over.
Why this matters
- No friction before paying — you don't have to remember another password to evaluate the product.
- No lost cart if you decide to sign up at the end — what you configured stays attached.
- Full account features (saved cards, API keys, multiple addresses, VAT number) only require the password step.
When you'd want to log in instead
If you've ordered before from another device, log in with your existing email — you'll see your previous orders and saved cards. Anonymous sign-in only persists in the browser you use it from.
