When and how do I get paid for a sale?
The flow depends on selling through your own connected store, which is the usual setup.
- Your customer pays you. When someone buys from your store (for example your Shopify, Etsy or Squarespace checkout), the payment goes to you, through that store's own payment system. You receive the full retail amount there, on that platform's normal payout schedule.
- theprintspace charges you for fulfilment. The order is sent to theprintspace to print and ship, and you're charged the fulfilment cost to produce and deliver it — which is why a payment card is kept on file for your account.
- Your profit is the difference, which stays with you because no commission is taken from the sale.
So you're not waiting on theprintspace to 'pay you out' — you collect the sale directly through your store, and theprintspace bills you for producing each order.
