How saved delivery addresses work on Artful Gallery

delivery address

Saved addresses let you check out faster — no retyping the same address every time. They're stored per-user and surfaced as quick-pick options at checkout.

How to save an address

Two paths:

From Settings

  1. Open Settings and find the Address Book card.
  2. Click Add Address.
  3. In the dialog, set a Label (e.g. Home, Studio) then fill in the address (the autocomplete fills line 1, city, postcode, country).
  4. Click Save Address.

At checkout

After confirming a new address (logged-in users only), the checkout form offers a Save address button with a Nickname field — save it for next time.

Address structure

  • Label — your nickname for it (Home, Studio, Mum's, Gallery, etc.).
  • Recipient name — who's receiving (you, a gift recipient, etc.).
  • Line 1 — main street address.
  • Line 2 — apartment, floor, etc. (optional).
  • City.
  • Postcode.
  • Country.

Address autocomplete

Both the Settings flow and the Checkout flow use Address Autocomplete — start typing your line 1 and the system suggests valid addresses. Pick one to fill in line 1, city, postcode, and country in one click.

At checkout

When a saved address exists, the checkout form shows a Use saved address option with a dropdown to pick one — it fills the form instantly. Switch to Enter new address to type a fresh one, or click Change address to start over. Overriding fields for one order doesn't change the saved entry.

Editing addresses

In Settings → Address Book, each saved address has a pencil (edit) and a trash (remove) icon.

Past orders that used a now-deleted address still keep the address in their order history — deletion only affects future quick-pick options.

Multiple recipients

Sending prints as gifts? Save the recipient's address with their name as the label and their name as the recipient — no need to type their address every time.

Privacy

Saved addresses are private to your account. Anonymous accounts keep addresses scoped to that browser session; converting to a logged-in account migrates them.
