In this quick guide, we’ll walk you through the 7 steps you need to complete to start selling your art online with creativehub & Shopify.

Step 1: Sign up to creativehub

Sign up for your free creativehub account here. If you already have an account, simply login.

Step 2: Upload your files, set your price & sizes

Once logged in to your creativehub account, navigate to your ‘Home’ page.

To the right hand side of the screen you’ll see a section titled ‘Tutorials’.

Click on ‘Tutorials’ and select the option, Sell your art through Shopify.

In this short tutorial, we walk you through the steps for uploading the files you wish to sell as art prints, then show you how to apply the sizes you wish to offer, the paper you wish to print on, the price, plus limited edition settings.

These tutorials are always available in your creativehub account, and if you need further assistance, click on the blue live chat bubble at the bottom-right of your screen to talk to our team.

Step 3: Create your Shopify store 

Head to Shopify to choose your subscription plan and design your store. You can choose from a wealth of great templates or design your own.

Step 4: Install the creativehub Shopify app

Whilst logged into your Shopify account, click the ‘Apps’ option from the main menu, then select ‘Visit Shopify App Store’.

Search for creativehub and follow the installation steps.

Once installed, your creativehub and Shopify accounts will be synced. 

Step 5: Import your print products to your Shopify store

Once prints are priced in creativehub, these will be listed in the creativehub Shopify app ready to be imported to your Shopify products list.

To get to the app, login to your Shopify store, then click ‘Apps’ and select the creativehub app.

Once in the app, you’ll see a list of all the products you applied prices to in Step 2. Next to each product is an ‘Import’ button.

When clicked the product will import to your Shopify products list. From here, make available and you are ready to sell!

Step 6: Add a payment card so we can fulfil your print orders 

When you sell a print in your Shopify store, the customer pays you the full amount via your chosen payment method (this is configured in Shopify’s main settings).

We then debit you separately for the production costs plus the flat rate shipping fee of £7.00 (+VAT if applicable).

You’ll need to add a bank card to your creativehub account for us to be able to take this payment.

To do this, click your profile icon in the top right of the page and select ‘Art store settings’ from the drop down options.

Then click ‘Payment settings’ on the left hand side menu.

Step 7: Driving traffic to your store

Great, you are all set up with your new online art store! When a print sells, we’ll handle fulfillment and ship direct to your customer within 48 hours.
